The pages feel good quality and thick enough to use markers with or paints, there are a lot of pages so it works well for a permanent ongoing book to fill. The hardback cover feels very sturdy and that it will last a long time, also perfect size for carrying around with you

I began using these sketchbook last year and I am impressed with their paper quality and how they handle graphite, charcoal and black ink. The paper is cream/ivory colour, which is a massive advantage when the it comes to drawing with pencil. The contrast between graphite and the ivory background is more visible but more delicate. White paper can be really off-putting and "glaring". It is not a super smooth paper, like you'd see in some bristol paper sketchbooks, it is a little bit "grainy" which I love, it works with graphite very well. And most importantly, it is affordable in comparison to some of the more premium brands sketchbooks like Canson that charge almost 20 euro for an A5 sketchbook. This Royal Talent sketchbooks is of course acid free.

My daughter spent her pocket money on this as she loves to sketch but it is really small. It is a good quality sketch pad and easy to pop into her bag. The pages don't bleed when she watercolours in it and it's very versatile as she can use it for a variety things. Although expensive my daughter assured me that it is a great quality pad worth the money.

One of my favourite affordable sketchbooks, the paper quality is good and the outer cover is very sturdy. The paper does have an unusual smell to it, I’ve had many of these books and always noticed it. It doesn’t put me off the product however ☺️
