This is great quality for such a reasonable price. On first impressions it's weighty, the paper is so smooth, and it also comes with a decent sized blotting sheet (all my others are too small). I'm yet to create any masterpieces but I can already tell I'll find this paper will improve my art work with the Ohuhu alcohol markers. Looking forward to trying.

I've only completed 1 drawing in this sketchbook so far but I am pleased with it and I plan to use it a lot more. I usually use bristol board or that thin marker paper when using alcohol marker pens, both of which do a decent job but I wanted a proper sketchbook to keep all of my marker illustrations together. Having a sketchbook with a ring binder like this is really handy as you can fold the back over and work comfortably. I like the fact that it is square and it is a perfect size too. The paper was really nice to work on, it was quite thick and fairly smooth, but not quite as smooth as bristol board, which is a good thing because a slight bit of texture makes layering coloured pencil over the top much easier. I actually really liked the paper for working on and think it is my new favorite surface. Most of my different marker brands didn't bleed, strangely the Graphit B markers spread quite a lot, but none of the others did (Copic, Ohuhu, Windsor and Newton pro markers and spectrum Noir I tested them all). This is a really great sketchbook and I would recommend it.

Really like the thickness of the paper and how smooth it is. Takes markers really well but it does bleed through to the otherside so you can't use both sides, not a big issue for me but worth bearing in mind. It is well held together and the perforated tear out is very handy. My only gripe is that when you tear it out it doesn't seem to be A3 anymore so won't fit a frame perfectly, not a problem as you can back it with some additional white paper or a surround though. Worth a buy.

Excellent quality sketch book. The paper is beautifully smooth allowing your markers to glide over the top. They do bleed through, however they provide you with a piece of soft plastic to place between the pages so you don't ruin the full pad of paper. This personally doesn't bother me as bleed through is common with alcohol markers and I also layer heavily. The paper does not warp and is pristine and white. The addition of the perforated edge means removing pages is a breeze and leaves a lovely neat edge for your art work. OHUHU customer service is also 5star, as are their marker collection (I recieved a semi dry pack of markers too and they didn't hesitate to replace them immediately). Very impressed with the quality for the price I paid as I spent a long time researching these compared to copic markers and other paper etc. Would recommend.

Thanks for the ‘bleed pad’ that goes between sheets to stop bleed through ~ excellent! Doesn’t take much work with water ~ i was pushing its limits using soluble pencil and wet brush. Lovely surface to draw on or use marker pens which, to be fair, is what it’s advertised for. Will definitely buy again~ great price/ quality.

Pros: -Amazing value for money. -The pages are thicker (like cardstock) and very smooth. -I find it works amazing with all of my Ohuhus as well as other markers. -Very sturdy book. I've wrecked the front cover through wear and tear yet not a single page was damaged Cons: -My only issue however is that it is NOT 100% bleed proof. (I layer art quite a bit and I find i can never use the back of a page, sometimes it bleeds through to the next page as well) I give this product 5 stars because I wouldn't pick any other sketchbook. This one is the best I've personally found so far

I'm impressed by this sketchbook. The front cover is soft, while the back is a bit more rigid. Good support. The sketchbooks comes with a protective sheet to use when coloring with markers, to protect the next sheet from bleeds. The pages are smooth, they work well with pencil, ink and alcohol markers (ohuhu brand). Erasing is also easy, doesn't tear the page and doesn't leave a sign (unless you apply too much strenght to the page while drawing). There is little bleed through (see pic) which is not ideal if you want to use both sides of the page, otherwise is just fine! The pages are microperforated, so you can take the page off. Cool. Overall I like this sketchbook and I recommend it, especially because is a quality you wouldn't expect for this price.
