Hiforny Drawing and Sketching Set This drawing set is really comprehensive covering many different sketching mediums including Graphite, Charcoal, Watercolour , Metallic as well as plain Coloured Pencils. The set also includes an array of sketching tools from erasers and sharpeners to blending tools and brushes. It all comes organised in a really nice zip up case with the inclusion of some nice sketch pads and a colouring book. The quality of the materials is really good for the price band, it is by no means the best quality but if it where you would be paying much more for it. Some of the pencils were a little weak with regards to pigmentation but they are perfectly adequate for general use. This would make a smashing present for a teenager or young adult just starting to explore there artistic side and the case makes the set ideal for traveling too. I would definitely recommend this set!

Wow, this drawing set makes me so happy! It is so well put together. I can't even imagine what else a person would need if they were wanting to draw. It's got color and whites, graphite and charcoal, blenders and sharpeners and erasers, it's wonderful. Even better, it's all neatly assembled in an easy-to- take-with-you zippered case. I recently had to sit in a hospital for days with a loved one and I very much wish I had had this at the time. The case is slim and not much bigger than a notebook. Everything fits snug inside including the sketchbook and coloring book, you could while away hours with this without making a mess and with a quick zip, you're ready to move. I like that the zipper has a pull on it, so there's no searching for it. It seems to be sturdily sewn in and glides easily. The white and black paper in the sketchbook has a slight texture to it so will be easy to drawn on, the tan paper is very smooth so I like it a little less. There are some things in here that I don't even know what they're used for, and I can't wait to find out! Just as a caution it does have an art knife sharpener, which is indeed sharp, so be careful that your fingers aren't in the way when you are extending the blade! I'm super happy with this set and can't wait to sit down and really get to know it!

I really like the zipper case for all the stuff keeps everything in one place and organized which is good when you’re not very organized. I’m really excited to start trying some of the stuff I don’t have. I love drawing but, haven’t in a long time but this set got me motivated to do some drawing. The quality of the pencils snd such is good quality. They aren’t the high end but they also aren’t low quality. They blend and go into paper just as I was hoping. The paper as I said earlier is a thinner paper but works well. It’s smooth and comes in different shades for different types of art. I really want to try the white charcoal on the black paper. I think that will be super cool. I’m telling you if you have someone who loves to draw this is a great set and has everything to start plus extra. Great set and the price is amazing.

My first impression of this set was pretty high. The zip up case is good quality, and seems tough enough to withstand some wear and tear. I love that all the groups of pencils have their own space with individual slots for each pencil. There are two sharpeners and two erasers which all work well, except one sharpener is missing a blade. The metallic pencils color smoothly, but the colors themselves are not that impressive. They are not as bright or shiny as I expected. The black colored set works amazingly well. Those are probably my favorite. The watercolor pencils took some getting used to. Yes, they are actual water colors. Water must be added to smooth and distribute the colors properly. This set does come with a brush to do so, but I recommend picking up a better quality brush. The one that it comes with is not made very well. There is a broad range of shading pencils in this set. There are quite a few to choose from to get the results one may be trying to reach. All in all - I am very impressed, and I would highly recommend this set.
