I already own Polychromos and Castle Art Gold pencils after getting into colouring a couple of years ago. So far these are my favourite- soft leads and vibrant colours that layer and blend well. They come in a nice case easy for storage and keeping safe from damage. And the price point on these currently are an absolute bargain! I would not be surprised to see these priced higher soon, and I could not pass up the opportunity to have a second set at this price. So glad I gave these a shot! As another reviewer said- Run, don't walk to purchase these! You will not regret it.

These are some of the best pencils I've ever used. Bought them to replace old cheap pencils I had and they're like night and day with their difference. They come presharpened, though they do need to be sharpened yet again as it's hard to colour with them. I've noticed they don't break at all which is absolutely amazing. The amount there is compared to the price is wild to me and they're incredibly varied colours. The only downside is that I found the colours are named weirdly. For example, the Olive Green is most definitely not olive green, but that's a small thing and doesn't really matter. The pencils barely smudge, only seeming to do it once there's a lot of build up on the page. They layer okay, they're not absolutely amazing with it but unless you're a professional artist, they're already above and beyond what regular pencils do. The thickness of the cores definitely protect the pencils and it was the reason I bought them. I found that it helps with breakage. The actual size of the pencils are quite good too, not too thick, not too thin. Goldilocks zone! The little carry case it comes with is absolutely amazing and it makes storing them easier. I love these pencils and would definitely recommend them to other artists, even some professional artists. The only downsides I can see with these pencils is the breakage and the colour names, but that's so small compared to the plus sides of these. Overall a huge 10/10.

With the different array of colours you can't go wrong with the price, they stand out on paper with vibrant and bright colours so they are a great starter kit, they are nice to use and hold comfortably in your hand. However there are a few issue I'd like to highlight, the soft lead in them means you'll need to sharpen then more often but they are easy to sharpen, and that the lead can break easily. On top it's hard to rub out so plan your colour palette and practice on a bland sheet of paper before use. So my view on these, that a fantastic for a starter kit as the value for money is very generous, besides the issue, they are an awesome kit to buy when you're starting out 🙂 I've put up a piece of my art to showcase how good they look on paper.

If you're like me and just starting out but don't wanna pay the price for stupidly expensive pencils, as a hobbyist these are great. I will point out this is my first time colouring anything decent as supposed to the odd page here and there. This is also my first time using wax pencils and I found as a beginner they blend really well. A couple of youtube video's on tips and tricks I think I didn't too bad. The pinks for me where the hardest as I just couldn't get them right. I did have to sharpen these pencils quite abit so longevity I may have to buy more quicker than I thought. But I cannot say whether this is down to the quality of the pencils or if this is just the nature with wax pencils. I pressume a mix between the 2. However if you're wanting to get into the hobby or just a play around the colours are fantastic and theres alot of them. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong. Anyone would find use for these in my opinion!

My daughter introduced me to these colour pencils so I was able to try hers before getting my own 130pc set. LOVE THEM! Great creamy pencil cores, they layer and blend beautifully and the strong cores fared really well with my layering and burnishing technique. Amazing wide range of shades so I’ll be able to do all types of scenes… seascapes, botanicals and florals, plus there’s a good mix of skin tones for portraits too. I find it helpful to see people’s images when I’m shopping online, so I’ve attached a couple of photos of an adult colouring picture I did using these colour pencils 😊. Very happy. Would highly recommend. Great quality. Also love the stylish case they come in - so handy. Keeps every pencil securely in place, and the case doesn’t take up a lot of room on my work surface. Huge thumbs up from me!

I revived these pencils about 45 minutes ago and after testing them i had to come on here and share this with you I am not one for reviews but these pencils are amazing I only know about pencils by watching reviews. The price does not match the quality these pencils are well made and look pretty the 3 strips around the bottom are iridescent they twinkle in the light these are not skinny pencils they lay like butter they are so soft they blend like a dream in don't know if these are a test batch but i would get them whilst the price is low as to me they are up there with the top brands i would not be surprised if in a few months they will be going for over £100 or well close to that price i am happy they are worth every penny The reason i chose these from the others was the look of them they look different to all other pencils even in the picture they looked thicker than most hope this helps sorry for the grammar and spelling mistakes i have a problem with the written word

I am in love with these pencils honestly dying for them to be more readily available and available in individual colors even if I had to buy 6-12 of one color as a replacement would love to take away a star for that but they so exceed my expectations that I really can't because in my opinion these so deserve every single star! I have bought 4 yes 4 sets in a year! One because I gave my adult daughter who prefers gel pens one of my spare sets so has to buy another to replace it as she fell in love with them. The colors are beautiful, vibrant & very well pigmented. They are easy to use and get full cover saturation. Easy to blend and will just keep putting, I can use them light handed, heavy handed, smoosh the colors to blend or layer to my heart's content. I find different pencils work better or worst on different papers so I'm pretty specific usually about what pencil brand I use depending on the paper....not with these, I have yet to check me across a paper I don't like them with, in fact enjoy them and their ease of use on every paper I have and every book ive yried so far (1 year of use and counting) tje vase is perfect size and fit. I like the pencils are in color order and labeled consecutively so super easy to put away even if I pull a ton of them out at once, it's nice it has a swatch charts that fits in the case, although I have a 3 ring binder of my own swatch charts I use but it's nice so if I want to take it on a trip or to a friends I have the swatch charts on durable cardstock like paper. I do wish these include extra white pencils but that's okay as they work great to blend , burnish and lighten areas for highlights so I use mine a lot or even better make individual colors available to buy open stock or in a box or 6 or 12, or even allow mixing of colors but requiring u buy a set amount in size options like 6, 12, 24 at a time. It's just that the colors are so beautiful I tend to gravitate towards a lot of the colors but have some I don't use as much of like the browns and greys and darker greens, which is odd because with any other set I use a ton of greens, browns, greys and darks as I mostly color pictures with lots of landscapes, leaves, trees, animals which use those colors so I still haven't figured out why my keast uses up colors of othwe sets are my most uses in these lol. I can say the only slightly negative thing I can say isn't actually a negative is just more if an FYI for those who color heavy handed on really heavy toothed paper is that occasionally you can get a minor amount of dust (not like prismas, it's just very minimal on some occasional instances for heavy handed colorers) so be aware of it if it happens and do not wipe it away, blow it or use a very soft fluffy brush and brush it away, it's a teeny tiny amount but the colors are so saturated and pigmented they will absolutely leave them streaks if you wipe them with your hand or something firm. That being said in my opinion these pencils are amazing they hold a point well for quite some time requiring minimal sharpening, the lay down smoothly, easily and rich. They aren't as soft as say a prismacolor premier but oddly are very easy to use like prismas without the hassle of constant breakage and sharpening due to how fast t prismas dulls. They also aren't as hard as polychromos yet hold a point well like them and will layer forever like polys. To me they are the perfect combination of the to top brands, best of both worlds. Evazar please make these more available as they go out of stock often than n the 130 set and offer them open stock in some form please these have spoiled me and I almost never use any of my other brands ( I have a lot) unless I start feeling guilty for having some brands I so me good money on just sitting there not being use them the guilt gets to me and I will pull them out but use them in addition to my Evazar London colored p nicks as these babies play super well with all of my other sets! And have vibrancy and pigmentation that to me matches no other brands colors.

I draw mostly with B-4B pencils, lately add hints of color with a small Prismacolor colored pencil set I bought recently. I was disappointed that the leads were thin and hard so I ordered these, over twice the colors for the same price plus double the quality!! These leads a thick and soft, the pencils already sharpened, and the colors are vivid and rich. Also the company, based in London, plants a tree for every set purchased. I am so pleased!! .

I bought this set for the price and could not be happier. I would like to purchase a second set. The case was not that interesting to me but now I love it for the convenience and organization. The pencils are also easy to get in and out. Other pluses for me - size of pencil & smooth barrel feel good in my hands, color lays down well with light or deep shading, virtually no crumbly bits, feels smooth and soft as you lay down color, and no smell. I am not a coloring book user, nor do I do drawings completely in colored pencil. I am a mixed media artist and they work well for my methods.

The color payout on these colored pencils is amazing! The color lays down easily and, since these are predominantly wax based, they are buttery smooth. You can definitely “smoosh” your blends together with these! While they are lacking in yellows, oranges and browns, the selection of blues, greens and especially pinks and purples is impressive and may fill in gaps if you own other sets that are lacking in those colors. Now for just a few minor cons: These predictably don’t hold a sharp point for very long, so you may have to sharpen them often, especially if you are a heavy handed colorist. I also noticed that these generate much more “dust” or teeny tiny crumbles than any other pencil I’ve ever used. Not a deal breaker, just mildly annoying to have to keep blowing or brushing them away. Lastly, the wax bloom on these occurs more quickly than with any other pencil I’ve ever used. Nothing a little Gamsol or other odorless mineral spirit can’t solve though. Personally, none of the above cons are deal breakers for me. I highly recommend this set, especially at its current low price.

These colored pencils are super soft. The first coloring layer may seem a bit blotchy because the color sticks to the page so heavily, but a second layer can completely cover and leaves a great richness I'm not used to! Nice for a page I don't want to spend a week on! I noticed I couldn't really get a sharp point however. The core split off tiny bits, but I didn't end up sharpening away half the pencil! If I can't get a point, I just use a soft pencil for what it can do and then come back with a harder pencil to neaten up the edges. The colors are rich, the core thick, the pencils very attractive. Having a case was a plus. I highly recommend these for anyone. Just remember that another harder set of pencils may be needed to help this soft set reach its potential!
